It was the mid-1800s when Bortolo Zanin opened an inn, in which he offered among the various local dishes and drinks, even the "white spirit". The people of Zugliano became passionate about "graspe" so much that Bortolo decided to start expanding the production of the distillate. In the 1940s, with the inn now closed, his son Rino continued the work of expanding the distillery and aging, bringing the Cavallina Bianca brand to fame. In the 70s with Fausto Zanin the company expanded abroad, in 38 countries. Today the distillery is led by Piero Zanin and his brother-in-law Massimo Fontana, who expanded the production in the new headquarters in Zugliano, restoring the old spinning mill acquired by his father Fausto. Four generations bound by a single passion, told in the essence of each drop labeled Zanin 1895.
